HI! We're back!! SOOOO much has changed! I got married in Feb. 07 to Mike...In Vegas of course...it was such a good time. We got married at the Flamingo, Mikes parents, my parents, and Kevin and Ann were all there. It was so nice to have an away wedding to not have to deal with the drama of big weddings.
In Jan. 09 we had a baby girl...Brooklyn Grace. Shes 5 months old today. Time goes to fast! Mikes already worried about boyfriends she is going to bring over. lol
We went to Florida this past April. Brandon had a great time...Brooklyn was obviously to young to remember. We decided to drive...that was way stupid! Never doing that again! We did all the Disney things...and paid a visit to Shamu, and went to a few beaches. The weather was awesome, and we have the best pictures ever! I would post them but I don't know how...so just trust me on this one.
Were heading to Vegas again this September, because we now realize that a "vacation" with the kids really isn't a vacation. Now I know what my parents meant when they said we need a vacation from the "vacation" hehe.
Hmmm...what else...OH...I've decided to go back to school...for nursing. Actually going to eventually be a mid-wife...but taking baby steps. (no pun intended) Started a couple classes this summer. Full time job...full time school...2 full time kids...good times. After looking at my schedule, I see that from the end of June until August, I only have 1 day off. With work and class during the week, and clinicals on weekends, it makes for some busy times! But well worth in the end, and thank God for an amazingly supportive husband!
Imagine...me...a nurse...delivering babies...scary eh? Bet you guys didn't see this comming.
Alright, since all kids are napping, I better use this time to study!!! Leraning about germs...ewww....GO WASH YOUR HANDS!!

Sometimes kids sure do impress me.
Brandon was asking where his piggy bank was this morning, because he wanted to look at it(since it was one he painted) so I got it out for him along with a baggie of money he had been saving from the tooth fairy, so he could put it into his bank. (He's saving for a new four-wheeler) As I handed him the money...2 one dollar bills, and about 5.00 in change...he looks at the bank and at the money...and says to me..."Mom, instead of keeping this money for myself I think I'm going to take it to school and put it in the jar for kids who can't afford clothes and food."
After school I asked him if he donated the money, and I asked him if he told his teacher where the money was from...he then says to me..."It doesn't matter where the money came from, just that it got there."

This weather TOTALLY sucks! I hate this cold and don't know if I can handle it! Did you see the forcast?!? Today is cold...but look intot his weekend and into next week...20-25 below zero...thats crazy! I'm not looking forward to it at all....wait...I don't have to...cause I'm pretty sure the weather forcast for next week in Vegas is supposed to be in the 70's....*evil snicker* Guess we picked a good time to get out of town!

I love global warming!
I know, I know...the long term effects aren't so good or anything...but come on...its almost Christmas and its 40 degrees out!! Thats Awesome!! (sorry Al Gore)
Christmas is almost here...for those of you who didn't know. I should start my shopping I guess. What about you guys...all done shopping? What'cha buy me? Remember...you can't go wrong with Juicy Couture...anything else make sure to give me a gift receipt. hehe
Wedding plans...are...well...moving along. I got my dress...and we have Mike's ring...theres so many decisions to make. Destination weddings are hard...planning a wedding with 20 guests and having it 500 miles away...stressful...I think I just felt another eyelash fall out. It's going to be a blast once we get there, and I know once there things will run smoothly...just getting to that point is stressing me out. It'll be fine...well, thats what they keep telling me anyway...lol
What to get me for a wedding gift you might be asking yourself?? Well...Kevin got me this...just sayin....

So in my quest to beat the system when ever possible...I have once again accomplished to....
Brandon takes a cold lunch to school everyday...which I pack with a p.b. sammy, fruit, chips, veggies, and a dessert (dessert is spelled with 2 s's...cause you always want seconds)...his teachers who monitor lunch won't let him eat any "fun" food or chips until he eats his sammy...or most of it anyway...I pack his lunch with things I'm ok with him eating...so who are they to determine what he can eat and at what point of the lunch peroid he can eat it...sooooo...we don't pack a sammy anymore...We pack peanut butter crackers instead...so there lunch lady monitor...how do you like dem apples?
*sigh* Back to the laundry.
